We stopped by the beach house to see everyone and get the agenda for the wedding preperations. It is going to be a busy few days. We met Stacy's twin sister and her husband. Great-grandpa loved spending time with Hannah and Noah.
Stacy, Stephanie and Cheryl (their mother) had plans to make the wedding cake on Sunday. James was to go to the airport to get his friends Jake and Andy so we made plans to pick Jason, Hannah and Noah up the next day to play miniature golf and check out the beach. We went to the beach first.
Hannah and Noah on the beach.Then on to the Plantation Pancake House for breakfast. Good restaurant and inexpensive. The kids loved their pancakes and my cinnamon french toast was very tasty.
Myrtle Beach is full of miniature golf courses. We chose the Molten Mountain because it has 18 holes under a roof and we were expecting rain.
After 18 holes of golf we went to Ripley's Aquarium. What a "cool" place. It is fun having fish swim over your head.
We had a lot of fun checking out the fish. Denny got to touch a stingray.
Our day wasn't over yet. We went back to Molten Mountain and played another 18 holes of golf on the outside course. Of course it started to rain while on the outside course but most of these holes had a special spinner to make changes in the game. You would spin the wheel and wherever the pointer landed you had to do what it said on that hole. This could be trading your ball for another players ball after everyone shot or shooting with the club behind your back or using the opposite end of the club for your first shot. We laughed a lot and had great fun doing what the spinner said.
We stopped back at the Beach House and dropped the kids off. Then on home for a quiet evening with Dad. There are plans for Monday to have a wedding rehersal and lunch with the wedding party and both families.
The adventure continues.
